Meet the Team
FounderShermin Voshmgir is the founder of BlockchainHub and runs BlockchainHub Berlin. She is on the advisory board of theEstonian e-residencyprogram, a curator of theDAO and regularly speaks at conferences and consults on Blockchains & Smart Contracts. Shermin did her PhD in IT-Management at the Vienna University of Economics, where she used to work as an assistant professor and currently lectures blockchain related topics. Furthermore she studied film and drama in Madrid. Her past work experience ranges from internet start-ups, IT consulting & filmmaking.
Valentin is long term a crypto enthusiast. He started out as an intern with BlockchainHub and is now junior consultant and content manager at BlockchainHub Berlin. Valentin is responsible for research and consulting as well as developing online learning resources and social media activities. He studies Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics, where he specialised on Information Systems Engineering and Blockchain in the context of supply chains.
Advisor Healthcare & Science
Sönke Bartling (PD Dr. med.) is a board certified radiologist, researcher in basic medical imaging sciences and open science researcher. He is interested in how knowledge creation in sciences and humanities can benefit from the blockchain revolution. He also likes to evade into what blockchain could do in the healthcare sector: healthcare is about trust and pricacy, so is the blockchain.

Advisor: Media & Digital TransformationKatja Nettesheim is the founder of _MEDIATE, a company focused on media consulting & digital transformation. In addition, Katja teaches media management at a private university of applied sciences where she focusses on the interdependence of strategy and technology. Originally a corporate and tax lawyer, she holds seats at several supervisory and advisory boards.
Advisor EnergyKirsten consults on energy transition and digitalization issues, is theCo-founder of StromDAO.de and organised the first German event on the application of blockchain in the energy sector. After finishing her Master’s in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, she’s gained 10 years of experience in the Danish and German energy industry with a particular focus on energy market designs enabling 100 % renewable energy systems. Kirsten is an external lecturer at the IT University of Copenhagen where she teaches the course “Digital Technology & New Business Models”.
Advisor FinanceKatarina Adam (PD Dr.-Ing) works as a professor at the HTW Berlin, Department Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. She lectures Corporate Finance, Accounting and Controlling. Her personal quest is to enable students in our complex and numerical orientated world to understand and effectively communicate the languages of numerical data. Furthermore she encourages students to look beyond. Currently she runs a Blockchain Project with a group of students. Her field of research is the use of Blockchain Technology in both financial aspects as well as in process optimization. She also did her first steps in a startup related to Blockchain and land registry in Germany. She possesses a deep understanding in real estate because she run her own business previously in that industry.

He has an extensive knowledge of global engineers movements and how to attract outstanding talent and build sustainable relationships with people. He also has a constant insight into new technologies, the most recent development stacks, emerging business models and meets inspiring founders every other day.
